Open zoom links on a laptop for larger-screen viewing.

Now is the perfect time to create your sacred space. Try out the cross mat pattern that I’m using.

Be ready with props and have them nearby: blocks, straps and blankets (or substitutes)

Place laptop in front as you would position. yourself with an instructor. 

Once you are positioned so I may see you well, feel free to turn on your video (on lower left side of screen) so I may offer visual adjustment suggestions and we can move more in flow with one another as a group. 

To seamlessly move from yoga to savasana, make sure the 2nd link is on your desktop so you can quickly click it and set yourself up for relaxation without too much interruption. I allow 5 minutes for transition. Savasana-meditation is from 10:15-1030am.

Each yoga series will build strength and cardiovascular capacity by linking hatha yoga postures with flowing vinyasas. Sequences incorporate core stability, hip and shoulder opening and spinal flexibility with variations offered for all levels. Class opens with qigong warmups and pranayama; emphasis is on harnessing our bandhas so our practice becomes lighter and brighter. Some yoga experience is recommended; please bring your own yoga props to the botanical garden class.

Monday | 5:30 – 6:30 pM  
Location: Redbud Fitness and Lifestyle Center, 500 E. Third St. Buchanan, MI.  Drop in 5 class pass $50. 

A blended class to introduce elements of different yoga styles Including: Iyengar (focus on alignment), Slowflow (breath connected to movement), Yin (holding poses and moving deeper into connective tissue) and Restorative (using props to support the bones and promote deep relaxation). 

Private Sessions Wednesdays and Fridays 

Location: Fernwood Botanical Gardens

$10 (Members $8)

Contact Deirdre with your group of 5 or more yogis interested in practicing in the gardens on a weekly basis. We will arrange a 6 week series tailored to your needs. Morning and evening times available.

Conscious Vinyasa Yoga for the first hour, then a forest bath down to the river and back, closing with Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep), as you are guided through the ‘five layers of self’ (Pancha Maya Kosha). Dress warmly and bring a blanket and eye pillow. 

Sundays | 2 – 4 pM  
Yoga & Nidra/Meditation, 

Location: Fernwood Botanical Gardens

Private Yoga

Open Friday and Saturday mornings 9:30-12:30pm (EST). Classes tailored for your group may include restorative, yin, vinyasa flow, sutra themes, therapeutic or yoga-story for kids. 

Private or Couples:

$90/hour, $99/1.5 hour house session,

$425 for a series of five one-hour sessions.

Semi-privates (3-5 people):

$70/hour; $85/1.5 hour.

Corporate Class (5-20):

$200/hour; $225/1.5 hours.

*Venues available are at the Art and Education Center in Three Oaks, Mi. and Fernwood Botanical Gardens. $20 transportation fee added for off-site location and bringing mats and props.
